About Cric Sports Daily

Cric Sports Daily is an independent sports news blog from Pakistan, publishing original sports coverage every day. The site was founded in 2023 and relaunched in October 2026 with a simple promise: fresh, accurate and honest sports stories for fans, written in our own words, every single day.

What we cover

Cricket comes first — Pakistan cricket in particular, from home series in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi to Pakistan's tours and ICC tournaments around the world. Alongside cricket we publish daily football coverage and a rotating mix of tennis, hockey, squash, kabaddi, athletics and badminton. Our Live Scores page carries live and upcoming fixtures, updated automatically through the day.

How we work

Every article on Cric Sports Daily is written by our own team. Before a story is published, the facts — scores, playing XIs, official sanctions, fixtures and records — are checked against official releases from bodies such as the ICC, the PCB and tournament organisers, and against reputable sports wires. Analysis and opinion are presented as our own view, and match reports stick to what actually happened on the field.

If we get something wrong, we fix it. Readers who spot an error can reach us through the Contact Us page and corrections are made as quickly as possible.

Photographs on this site are either copyright-free images used under their licence (for example from Wikimedia Commons, with the photographer credited on the page), or original illustrations created for Cric Sports Daily. We do not knowingly use any image without the right to publish it; rights holders can contact us for prompt removal.

Who runs the site

Cric Sports Daily is edited by Rahib Hassan and written with a small team of sports contributors based in Pakistan. We are independent: this site is not affiliated with the ICC, the PCB, FIFA or any team, league or federation mentioned in our coverage.
